You can create your own reality
This is a very good illustration of the law of attraction: continue to concentrate on the flies and there will come more and more. But start to concentrate on a beautiful landscape and the ugliness disappears. The difficult thing is off course to keep our minds fixed on the landscape: on what we want to attract and NOT on what we want to avoid.
