Well, if I was in their place, I would have also done the same.
They have worked their way to riches, and have seen the dot com crash days when millions of dollars of stock options had turned into worthless paper.
Better to cash some $$$ and re-invest it in some safe place.

Surprising the stock has not gone down much. It is still in an uptrend.
